One thing the University could change for you - what would it be? Provide a web component for each and every course. Add additional wireless capability across campus. Establish a formal mentor program to assist (Doctoral) students through their program. Build an on-campus football stadium!
Inclination to change love change……at my pace. Don’t force it on me or change for poor reasons.

Things I Want from Higher Ed

  • Give me an online prescence in light of the fact that I have a full-time schedule. [24/7 Access]
  • Make notes available online so that I can review it at my leisure. [Print vs. Online]
  • Fund faculty development to help them use new technology to help them become better educators.
  • Online can allow me to find those who have the same interests…I can learn new hobbies by communicating online. [Boston Whaler]
  • Faculty need to understand their students; provide formative evaluations and use their suggestions to improve the class.
  • Educational databases in the library are impossible to use…I need easy to use sites. [Google Scholars]
  • Provide mentors, who can answer academic and administrative questions on more of a social level.
