| One thing the University could change for you - what would it be? | More open source systems on campus. Corporate systems don't offer flexibility or reliability. I'm tired of "It can't do it or we can't fix it, we have to the vendor" excuse. Develop and maintain it ourselves. |
| Inclination to change | I know change is inevitable, however it doesn't mean I like to do it. |

| One thing the University could change for you - what would it be? | Convergence. Condense everything into one or two intuitive, manageable systems customized for our unique student body. Don’t rely so heavily on monolithic, black-box packages. |
| Inclination to change | We must all realize that Change is part of life whether we want it to be or not. The real battle becomes which changes we are willing to accept based on our values and beliefs. I’d like to think I’m a person who is open to Change but certainly not immune to human resistance that inevitably occurs. |

Things I Want from Higher Ed
- I can excel at traditional courses but those faculty who use different technologies to enhance the learning actually allows me to retain the material better. [Old-Fashioned versus Multimedia]
- Professor can require more books to students but still maintain low costs if the books are made available online. [Electronic Access to Textbooks]
- Technology can be used for students who are otherwise shy to talk to their peers and their educators; provide us a mean of communicating online.
- Make the library completely web-based e.g ebooks, making the microfilm and microfiche online, etc. I want access to information 24/7 as well as resources that I could not otherwise get because of distance.
